$1.2 Million In Meth Taken After Traffic Stop

One man is behind bars after $1.2 million in drugs was discovered after a traffic stop in Carson County.

Just after 12:40 pm on Monday, troopers stopped a 2012 Nissan Altima, and after smelling marijuana coming from the car authorities searched the car.

That’s when 27.5 pounds of methamphetamine was discovered wrapped inside a cardboard diaper box.

The Driver was arrested and booked into the Randall County Jail.

A passenger was also in the vehicle and claimed not to know anything.

The drugs were believed to be transported from Arizona to Missouri.
