19 Year Old Indicted In Undercover Prostitution Sting

A grand jury indicted 19-year-old Eric Jason Fernandez on a prostitution charge after Amarillo police said he responded to an ad targeting adults looking to meet up with minors for sex.

Fernandez called the phone number in an online ad and offered marijuana in exchange for oral sex.

The officer, posing as a 16-year-old boy said he was “almost 17.”

Fernandez asked for an address and then showed up with marijuana, a gun, a condom, and the same cell phone used in the conversation with the undercover officer.
