28-Year-Old Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash
A Tuesday morning crash involving a motorcycle and car has left one person dead.
APD was called to the scene near Soncy and West Amarillo Boulevard where they found a white 2024 CF Moto Sport motorcycle and a 2022 Mazda 9 involved in a serious accident.
The motorcycle rider, 28-year-old Andrew Spring was traveling north on Soncy when he struck the Mazda traveling east on Amarillo Boulevard. That driver was making a turn onto southbound Soncy when Spring struck the passenger side of the car.
Spring was ejected from his motorcycle, suffering life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
The driver of the Mazda was not injured, the passenger sustained minor injuries.
Potter County Justice of the Peace Robert Taylor has ordered an autopsy.
