A Fond Farewell For The City’s Top Cop

The public is invited to send Amarillo Police Department Chief Ed Drain off to Plano.
The farewell celebration is Friday, February 7, at 1:00 p.m. at the Globe-News Center Lobby in Downtown Amarillo.
Drain came to the APD’s as interim chief and later took the job.
He served as the s assistant chief in Plano Police Department for 10 years before coming to Amarillo.
Drain has worked on building new programs and trust with the community
