Amarillo Doctor Convicted Of Indecency With A Child/Sexual Contact.

An Amarillo doctor has been convicted on two counts of indecency with a child, sexual contact.

Dr. Jeffery Cone had a civil lawsuit filed on him in December 2017 saying that the doctor allegedly sexually abused a minor.

The lawsuit states that Cone was the minor’s doctor.

When the minor turned 15 years old, Dr. Cone gave him a job performing office management tasks.

The minor even shadowed the doctor in surgery.

Cone was sentenced to two years at a Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) facility and a $1,000 fine.

In March 2018, Cone surrendered his medical license after the Texas Medical Board temporarily suspended it.
