Amarillo Fire Department “Fire Chief for a Day”

Sleepy Hallow Kindergartener Abigail Smith has been named the Amarillo Fire Department’s Fire Chief for a Day

Abigail has been battling brain cancer and has spent the last 3 months going through chemo.

She will be spending the day riding in one of the fire trucks, taking a ride in the Lifestar Helicopter and will be getting special recognition from Mayor Ginger Nelson.
