Amarillo Man Jailed on Drug Charge

An Amarillo man is under arrest after the DEA obtained a search warrant, that turned up drugs and guns.
A Task Force Officer with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in Amarillo stated that a search warrant was obtained for a home associated with Fabian Hernandez.
Hernandez was found at the home.
Court documents say law enforcement found a Ruger .22 rifle, 1.1 kilograms of methamphetamine, and $7,600 in cash.
After an interview with Hernandez, he admitted the gun was located in the home and also admitted to owning the meth.
He also gave agents consent to search his cell phone, where drug-dealing messages were found.
He’s charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
