APD K-9 Alerts to $1 Million Dollars Worth of Narcotics

Five pounds of heroin and nine pounds of cocaine have been taken off the street after an early Tuesday morning traffic stop.

The Amarillo Police Department’s K-9 Sunny alerted to the narcotics during the stop after doing a free air search around the vehicle.

This gave officers probable cause to search inside of the vehicle where they found the cocaine and heroin that valued more than $1 million dollars together. 

Due to the ongoing investigation information about the suspect is unavailable at this time.
