APD Set To Update Record Systems

The Amarillo Police Department will be upgrading its records management system

The switch will start today and is expected to be completed by Tuesday, which will cause some delays for record requests by the public.

Officers will continue to answer service calls and make reports but copies of these reports will be delayed by five to seven days.

Online reporting and phone requests will be limited but still available during this time and accident reports will not be affected by the upgrade.

APD  would like to thank the public for their patience during this transition.
