Amarillo Police arrested a man Tuesday in connection with the random shooting in the area of Sleepy Hollow Boulevard and Coulter Monday night.

35-year-old Jared Pearson was taken into custody after he exited his second-floor apartment in the Windtree Apartment Complex, which are located in the area where the shootings took place.

There is no word yet whether the accused man fired the shots from his apartment, or what type of firearm was used.

Pearson was booked into the Randall County Jail, charged with seven counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. 

Six vehicles were struck between 10:50 p.m. and 11 p.m. Monday night. Four people were injured.
