Borger Youth Park Pool Renovations

Borger is investing 3 million dollars in its Johnson Park Youth Pool.

The new pool will have walk-in accessibility, more capacity, more shaded areas. and more water toys added.

The expected start of the project will be at the end of the pool season and is expected to be complete by the start of the summer 2025 season.

The Borger pool was built 70 years ago and needs updates to plumbing and drains.

City officials say this will not affect the city tax rates, because the funding will come from excess reserves
