Canyon ISD Introduces Mental Health Program For Staff

Another sign educators today simply face challenges not faced 20 years or more ago.

Beginning with this school year, the Canyon Independent School District will offer mental health services to all employees. It is doing so in response to the challenging environment teachers and other faculty members face today.

The program offers online therapy with access to a licensed mental health professional.

The intent is to keep things like stress in check, to manage well-being, and stay balanced.

The district says feedback thus far has been positive.
