Chase Ends In The Arrest Of One Suspect Search Continues For 2nd

One person is behind bars and another is on the run after a police chase on Amarillo Boulevard early Sunday morning.

The Department of Public Safety says that the suspects were driving a black car near the 5700 block of Amarillo Boulevard West at a high rate of speed. That vehicle then hit a utility pole knocking out power around the area.

The suspects took off on foot but 19-year-old Byron Luckie of Amarillo was later caught and taken to Potter County Jail while the other suspect, a juvenile male, is still on the run.

Two handguns were found at the scene of the crash and were taken into evidence.
