City Charter Proposals; Council To Hold Special Meeting

After taking ‘No Action’ during Tuesday’s meeting, the Amarillo City Council will hold a special meeting to discuss the City Charter, and the proposed amendments.
The council will meet Friday, August 2, 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in council chambers (room 302) of City Hall. The meeting will be streamed live on the city’s website, amarillo.gov, and choose the link under the ‘How Do I’ tab.
The council is seeking to get the amendments and ballot language ready in time for the November 5 election.
