The City of Amarillo has earned its 33rd straight Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Distinguished Budget Preservation Award.
The recognition reflects the ‘commitment of a governing body and staff to meet the highest principles of governmental budgeting.’
Assistant City Manager and CFO Laura Storrs says the City of Amarillo is committed to providing the city budget to citizens in a convenient and easy-to-understand way.”
More than 1700 participants enter the Budget Awards Program.
