Crash Involving Motorcycle And SUV Leaves Rider with Life Threatening Injuries

A wreck involving a motorcycle and an SUV on Mockingbird Lane and Paramount Boulevard has left an Amarillo man with life-threatening injuries.
Amarillo Police were called to the scene at 8:15 Wednesday night where a 33-year old man was riding a 2015 Harly Davidson Motorcycle westbound on Mockingbird when he disregarded a stop at the intersection of Paramount and pulled out in front of a southbound Hummer and was hit.
The man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police say the rider was not wearing a helmet and speed could be a factor in this crash, the driver of the SUV was uninjured.
