Earthquake Rattles Parts Of Texas

The U.S. Geological Survey says a quake with a magnitude of 5.1 struck near Ackerly, a small town about an hour north of Midland, at around 7:45 p.m. Residents of Amarillo, Midland and Lubbock reported on social media that they’d felt the quake, along with people in Dallas, Austin and San Antonio. No damage or injuries have been reported. (Metro News)
