Groom VFD Called Out To Early Morning Tractor-Trailer Fire

An early morning fire in Groom had that town’s Volunteer Fire Department busy.
The call came around 1:43 Monday morning, crews called to an area east of Groom along I-40 near mile marker 114. There they came upon a tractor trailer fully engulfed in flames. The Groom VFD was later joined by the Skellytown and McLean departments to assist in bringing the blaze under control.
No reports at this time concerning injuries.
