They handed over the keys to its 120th home to a local family Tuesday.

Habitat for Humanity says the Per family received the keys to the home Tuesday morning in Lee Green’s Addition in the El Barrio neighborhood.

Originally from Myanmar, the family applied and was accepted into the nonprofit’s homeownership program.

The nonprofit says the family completed financial literacy courses and more than 500 sweat equity hours.

Donors for the home include Atmos Energy, The Don and Sybil Harrington Foundation, and the City of Amarillo.
