Lubbock DPS Captain Arrested

The Texas Department of Public Safety says it has arrested one of its own.

Captain Gary McMillian was arrested at his home in Lubbock Thursday following an investigation by the Texas Rangers.

McMillian has been charged with two counts of indecency with a child sexual contact. He was suspended by DPS Thursday as well.

McMillian has been with DPS since 2003. He was booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center where he is being held on a $50,000 bond.
