Man Sentenced By Randall County Jury For 2020 DWI
Aaron Manuel Fraire has been convicted by a Randall County jury of intoxication assault with a vehicle causing serious bodily injury, and tampering with evidence.
The conviction is the result of an incident dating back to 2020 when, according to officials, Fraire was driving his vehicle close to 90 miles per hour when he crashed into another vehicle, causing the female driver serious bodily injury, which included a collapsed lung.
Fraire’s blood alcohol content at the time was measured at .229.
At his August 7 sentencing, Fraire freely admitted he had driven while intoxicated many times before without being caught.
He received five years in the Texas Department of Corrections on the intoxication assault, and probation for tampering with evidence. That stemming from tossing beer which was later found by police.
