Man Sentenced For Assaulting Three Officers

Phillip Wayne Crawford has been sentenced by Randall County Judge Titiana Frausto to 15 years for assault on a public servant, and 20 years on two counts of assault of a peace officer.

The charges stem from a September 11, 2022 domestic disturbance. While officers were conducting their investigation of the incident, Crawford became angry and interfered with the investigation.

He struck one officer with the front door of the home of the person that placed the 911 call. Crawford later assaulted all three officers, all receiving injuries as a result of the attack.

After hearing the testimony and viewing the evidence, the judge found Crawford guilty of all three charges.
