Vendors submitting a bid to the City of Amarillo will find it easier in the future to complete the submission process in a matter of minutes.

 Beginning June 3, The City of Amarillo will implement Bonfire, a new bid system, in its purchasing department.

Normally addendums on the current system have to be mailed out to the vendors, and too many times the timelines are too close to bid openings.

With Bonfire, it’ll allow for faster and easier bid submissions, increase participation, and reduce disqualifications.
