New Buffalo Stadium Opens With Ribbon Cutting and Unveiling of the White Buffalo Statue

After 60 years West Texas A&M University football is back on campus.
A ceremony was held on Friday at the new WT Buffalo Stadium with the unveiling of the white buffalo statue at its new location and a ribbon-cutting officially opening the new facility.
The stadium has 8,500 seats and the capacity to hold 12,000 spectators. It also features a new scoreboard with a video screen, and WIFI six network.
Construction began in May 2018 with a project budget of $38,800,000.
The iconic white buffalo was created by Jack King Hill and has been a symbol of buff pride since 1967.
