Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service offices to host a Local Food Producers Field Day.

The event will provide information, ideas, and inspiration for local food producers, and starts at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24 at the Swisher County Annex Classroom, located at 310 W Broadway Avenue in Tulia.

Participants will tour two local farms with experience in producing and selling produce to the public. There will also be a tour of a three-acre vegetable garden between Tulia and Kress.

There’ll be many speakers, and the price of registration is $25 per person (cash or check) and is payable at the door.

Lunch will be provided at 12:30 p.m. at the Hale County AgriLife Extension Office in Plainview.
