Oklahoma Man Dies in Lipscomb County Crash

An Oklahoma man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Lipscomb county.

The crash took place seven miles north of Glazier.  

On Monday afternoon Alva Howard of Beaver Oklahoma was driving northbound on State Highway 305 in a 2018 GMC Sierra pickup truck. 

For an unknown reason, the truck drove off the roadway and struck a tree head-on. 

Howard was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The crash is under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
