PARC Preparing For New Facility

Out with the old and in with the new. 

The Panhandle Adult Rehabilitation Center is getting ready for its new facility, which, according to PARC Executive Director Valerie Gooch, will double its space for new members.

The original building is located at 413 S.W. 6th Avenue will soon be razed to make room for the new facility.

To assure minimal interruption of its service, PARC has built a building to allow it to remain open during the demolition and construction.

PARC staff say the new building will combine the feel of downtown Amarillo revitalization, while providing privacy for its members.

The new facility is expected to open next summer.
