Potter County Sheriff’s Office Urges Citizens to Prepare For Winter Weather Event

The Potter County Sheriff’s Office and Emergency Operations Command are preparing for the upcoming winter weather event.
With snow starting on Monday and possibly lasting through Wednesday we could see four to seven inches of snow.
The Sheriff’s Office is urging citizens to prepare now by filling up your vehicle with gas. Bring your pets inside and have an emergency kit in your car.
An emergency kit can consist of water, non-perishable foods, blankets, and a flashlight.
These items can be useful if in the event of becoming stranded.
