Skunk Tests Positive for Rabies in Hutchinson County

The City of Borger was notified by the Texas Department of State Health Services about a confirmed rabies case.

The notification came on Friday, January 17 when a skunk that was found in the Buena Vista and Fairlanes area tested positive.

Residents are urged to make sure that all pets are up to date on their rabies vaccinations.
