Teen Arrested In Perryton Death

Just after her identity was made known, a suspect in the case of the body found in Perryton Tuesday.

The woman was identified as 62-year-old Joni Lynn Morgan. She was found deceased in a field northeast of Perryton not far from a nightclub.

Thursday, officials took a teenage male suspect into custody in connection with Morgan’s death.

The cause of her death is pending the results of an autopsy.
