Since 1920, the League of Women Voters has fought to change the law to allow women to vote.
The Amarillo League was established just 69 years ago and thanks to a proclamation by the City of Amarillo, October 15, 2019, will now be remembered as League of Women Voters Days.
In the last two weeks League members registered over 200 people.
