(Toronto, Ontario) — Brandon Drury hit a grand slam in an eight-run fourth inning and drove in five as the Blue Jays pummeled the Rangers 19-4 in Toronto. Ariel Jurado allowed eight runs in less than four innings to take the loss. Nomar Mazara, Willie Calhoun and Rougned Odor homered in defeat. Rangers catcher Jeff Mathis pitched one inning, allowing two runs. The Rangers lost for the fifth time in six games.

Rangers Release 2020 Schedule

(Arlington, TX) — The 2020 MLB schedule is out. The Rangers will open next season on March 26th in Seattle. They will play their first home game at the new Globe Life Field on March 31st against the Angels. The Yankees will play a three-game series beginning April 13th in Arlington. The Rangers will wrap up the season with six games at home against the A’s and Mariners beginning September 22nd.

Sod Poodles Game Suspended

Monday evening’s series opener between the Sod Poodles and the Midland RockHounds was suspended due to rain. The game will be resumed at 5:30 this afternoon in the bottom of the sixth inning with the score tied at 2-2. Game two of the series with begin approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of the suspended game. Gates at HODGETOWN open at 5:00 p.m. CT. All tickets for Monday’s suspended game are considered rain checks for today’s games at HODGETOWN. To exchange tickets, fans will need to present them in-person at the HODGETOWN box office. With Jadeveon Clowney remaining out of a camp in a contract dispute, Brennan Scarlett is getting more reps with the first unit. The Texans will have open practices tomorrow and Thursday at the Houston Methodist Training Center across from NRG Stadium. The Texans are preparing for a Saturday home preseason game against the Lions.

Mavericks Will Open Season With Washington

(Dallas, TX) — The NBA has released its schedule and the Mavericks will open the season on October 23rd at home against Washington. It includes a December 12th game against the Pistons in Mexico City. The Mavs have 15 December games, nine on the road. The Mavs will open January with six home games against Brooklyn, Charlotte, Chicago, Denver, LA Lakers and Philadelphia. The regular season ends on April 15th with Dallas hosting the Thunder.
