The annual WT Ag Day Celebration is just days away.

Known as one of the area’s largest single-day fund raising events, The Ag Day Celebration always brings in hundreds of supporters and others from around the Panhandle region.

Ag Day is hosted by the WT Department of Agriculture Sciences along with the Ag Development Association.

Everything gets underway at 11 Saturday morning at the Bain Even Center in WT’s Ag Sciences Complex. The event should wrap up around 3 p.m. Those who attend will enjoy a prime rib lunch.

Live and silent auctions featuring cruises, hunting trips and more are always the star of the event.

337 ag students will receive more than $850,000 in scholarships for the academic year during a reception Friday.
