1 Dead After Vehicle Crashes Into Tree

A man is dead following his vehicle crashing into a tree Sunday June 13th.
The accident happened in the 34-hundred block of River Road.
Amarillo Police say at 1:50 p.m. a 2000 Ford F-150 pickup truck crashed into a tree while it was travelling westbound on River Road.
Police have determined that 54 year old Rodney Ramirez sufferred a medical emergency prior to the crash. He was taken to the hospital where he died as a result.
The incident is under investigation by the Amarillo traffic Investigation Squad.
