Several restaurants and businesses will salute the men and women who have preserved our freedoms on Veterans Day 

Bubba’s 33 is offering veterans a free classic cheeseburger, bacon burger, 12″ pepperoni pizza, chicken & bacon mac & cheese, grilled chicken salad or chicken tender salad with choice of iced tea, sweet tea, soft drink or coffee. Active, former or retired military mush show Military ID cards, Veterans Affairs cards or discharge papers.

Applebee’s invites all veterans and active-duty military to visit their local restaurant to enjoy a complimentary full-size entree from an exclusive menu. This year marks the 12th year that Applebee’s has honored neighborhood heroes on Veterans Day by welcoming them in for a free meal.

Chipotle will have  Buy one get one free burrito, bowl, salad, or tacos when you show your military ID. 

Texas Roadhouse has Free lunch to all veterans and military service members who present a military ID card on Nov. 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You can choose from 10 entrees and the meal includes two sides and a drink.

Sport Clips in Amarillo will be giving free haircuts to active duty military and veterans with proof of service. Both Amarillo locations, 2325 S. Georgia and 3420 S. Soncy, Suite 200, will participate. Additionally, $1 from every haircut on Veterans Day will go to support the Veterans of Foreign Wars’ “Sport Clips Help A Hero Scholarship” for service members and veterans.

Quick Quack Car Wash will offer free car washes to veterans any time between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and receive the top wash for free. Veterans and active military can also get their first month of membership free with $1 activation.
