AFD Receives First Round Of Covid-19 Vaccination

The Amarillo Fire Department announced they have started receiving Covid-19 Vaccination.
The Department says they have been responding to more than 500 known Covid-19 related calls along with helping get several nursing home facilities and meat packing plants tested.
Crews will be getting a second dose 28 days after getting their first dose.
AFD says the vaccinations will allow firefighters to perform their jobs in protecting themselves and keeping the citizens of Amarillo safe.
