AISD APD Investigating Potential Threat

The Amarillo Police Department is looking into potential threats involving Amarillo Independent School District students
APD and AISD staffers are working closely together to identify the students and investigate all leads and information thoroughly.”
Police say say that it has addressed the reported threats to schools, “but there is an increased police presence at each of our high school campuses. This is a precaution they are taking to help reassure parents, students and staff, that the schools are safe.
