Amarillo Citizens Participate in the First Extended Comment Meeting

The City of Amarillo’s extended comment meeting took place on Tuesday afternoon at the downtown public library. 

Mayor Ginger Nelson, Councilmember Doctor Eddy Sauer, and City Manager Jared Miller took and answered questions and concerns from Amarillo citizens. 

The forum is to provide an open dialog with the elected representatives and the public. Unlike the public comment session during City Council meetings where the representatives do not engage with the public. 

These meetings will take place on the first Tuesday of every month.
