Amarillo College and City Transportation Collaboration gets $75,000 Grant

The transportation collaboration between Amarillo College and the City of Amarillo was awarded a $75,000 grant from the Kresge Foundation.
The grant will help support the program that was started on August 15 and helps 2,200 AC passengers.
Students and staff of AC may ride the city buses for free by just simply presenting an AC identification.
The grant is one of five college-transportation awards that will go to 10 cities across the United States.
