You can make your business dream matter by applying for the Amarillo EnterPrize Challenge starting on Oct. 31.

The WT Enterprise Center is hosting the competition, which will give a total of $300,000 to businesses.

Randall and Pottery County business owners can compete for award amounts up to $75,000 to grow their businesses.

In order to apply, applicants must also attend one mandatory orientation to review the process of eligibility and selection requirements.

The challenge, funded by the Amarillo Economic Development Corporation, has a goal to help entrepreneurs expand their business outside of the Amarillo area.

Participants will receive qualified coaching and a support system to come up with a realistic business plan to scale their company over a five-year period.

The competition started in 1995, has helped 100 participants, and has awarded more than $7.5 million.
