Amarillo Man Dead After Single-Vehicle Rollover

An Amarillo man is dead after being ejected from his vehicle in Potter County.
The Texas Department of Transportation said around 8:30 pm Tuesday, 33-year-old Travis Arbuckle was driving north on US 87 in a 2004 chevy Silverado 20 miles north of Amarillo.
The vehicle veered off the road into the center median, and when he tried to get back onto the road he overcorrected and lost control of the pickup.
Arbuckle was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
DPS officials believe that speed was a factor in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
