Amarillo Seeing Growth In Jobs

Amarillo is seeing growth in the workforce compared to previous months.
The Texas Workforce Commission says the Amarillo Metropolitan Statistical Area recorded the lowest unemployment rate in the state for December 2020.
The unemployment rate for Amarillo was at 4.9% with the State of Texas at 7.2%.
City officials state a large and diverse economy that helps the area continue to grow.
