Another PACE, DEA Bust
31-year-old Myron Glover Jr. has been arrested on a federal drug charge. That arrest happened Wednesday.
Amarillo Proactive Criminal Enforcement officers, along with DEA agents were investigating a drug dealer known to be staying in Amarillo. It was believed Glover was distributing large amounts of fentanyl in Amarillo.
He was located at a house in the 6900 block of Apollo. SWAT and APD task force officers were called to assist. When Glover left the residence, he ran from officers but was captured following a foot pursuit.
A search of his person led to the discovery of one pound of methamphetamine. Two pounds of marijuana also found in the suspect’s car.
After getting a search warrant for the residence, officers found 13 pounds of meth, around 16,000 fentanyl pills, 19 pounds of marijuana, seven firearms, and roughly $11,00 in cash.
Glover was booked into the Randall County Jail for the federal drug charge.
