APD Investigating Burglary at Dollar General In South Amarillo

The Amarillo Police Department is currently investigating a burglary at a Dollar General.

Officers were called out to the Southwest 43rd and South Washington just before 8 am and discovered that two men were seen running from the store east along Southwest 43rd.

Surveillance video from the store showed a suspect breaking a window, stealing cigarettes then leaving.

The store has been closed until further notice as police continue to investigate.
