APD Investigation Early Morning Homicide

Another murder is under investigation in the city.

Amarillo Police Officers were alerted to a possible homicide at a hotel in the 4600 block of East I-40. 

There APD Officers located 31-year-old Kendra Vela deceased in a room with apparent gunshot wounds.

The Amarillo Police Department Homicide Unit is investigating and no arrests have been made at this time.
