APD Responds To Monday Night Shooting

At around 11:39 Monday night, Amarillo Police were sent to a residence located in the 100 block of South Carolina on a shots fired call.

Upon arrival, officers discovered two people in the residence, one of which had been shot several times. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses said they observed three people running from the location and taking off in a dark colored sedan.
