APD Responds To Scene Of Pedestrian Who Was Hit By A Vehicle.

Amarillo Police are investigating a man that was hit by a vehicle in the 500 block of Northeast 15th avenue on Wednesday afternoon.
Once on scene, officers found the man who was taken to a local hospital.
The incident took place between Birch Street and Maple Street and took place in the same area of a shots fired call that caused the lockdown of Palo Duro High School, Hamlet Elementary and Park Hills Elementary.
