Barrio Neighborhood Planning Commission

Amarillo National Bank and the Barrio Neighborhood Planning Committee are teaming up to host a free education class on home buying and home improvement this Thursday.

The class takes place from 6;00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Alamo Center at 1502 South Cleveland, and the classes will be bi-lingual.

The Amarillo Health Department will also be on hand offering free adult vaccines.

Participants will be able to learn about tips to becoming a successful homeowner, the process to get a mortgage, and resources available to future homeowners.

Attendees are asked to bring their own interpreters’ languages other than Spanish, 

Free bottled water will also be available, along with free food, snow cones, and door prizes from the Amarillo National Bank.
