Bucc’ee’s In Amarillo.

Amarillo is one step closer to becoming a home for a Buc” ee”s.

City of Amarillo officials say there are still some bugs to be worked out.

One of the bugs is the re-zoning, then the site plan can be approved and permits for full construction can be issued.

The agreement Buc’ees signed with the City of Amarillo, states they’ve got 15 months from the time construction starts to have everything ready to go for a certificate of occupancy to be issued,

The agreement also states Buc-ee’s has committed to creating 150 full-time jobs and $6 million in annual payroll, and the city is betting on a positive impact for the city.

Buc’ees will be located at I-40 East near Airport  Boulevard
