CDC Mask Guideline Updates

The Centers For Disease Control has announced newly updated guidelines that puts Amarillo right in the Covid-19 crosshairs
Dr Rochelle Walensky says the agency now recommends that fully vaccinated people living in areas of high levels of Covid- 19 transmission should wear a mask indoors.
The announcement reverses a decision made by the CDC just two months ago. The guidance specified that fully vaccinated people did not have to wear masks outdoors in crowds and in most indoor settings.
Potter and Randall Counties are considered in the High Level category.
